Arts Collectives
RMIT Union Arts is the umbrella organisation for all arts collectives. Arts collectives are a great way to develop your skills in the arts, make contacts or just get involved.
We've got an exciting and diverse range of arts collectives. They all include the lighter and more professional aspects of their particular arts focus. Collective members gain fantastic contacts, friends and experience within their chosen field that will serve them well long after they leave university.

Within EarshotWithin Earshot utilises new and defunct technologies to explore surround sound experience and acoustic phenomena. From live performance within a multi-channel environment, to installation art in confined spaces, to free improvisation within uniquely constructed surround speaker setups. These distinct aspects all explore the possibility of Surround Sound experience in unique ways, whilst also presenting a public forum within which people from the wider community can enjoy and participate in the emerging culture of the RMIT sound art community.
