Artspaces

The RMIT Union [Arts] Artspaces provide students with the perfect opportunity to show their works for free in the inner City and Brunswick campuses. They are excellent spaces to display exciting new works of any medium by individuals or groups. Month-long shows, completely free and no gallery sitting!

The Swanston Artspace has four lit, lockable window cases that are recessed into the wall outside the RMIT Union [Arts] office, Level 2, Building 8 (Kaleide Theatre foyer). They are all different in size and shape and are perfect for exhibiting small wall-mounted or 3-D works.

The International Student Lounge on Level 4, Building 8 has three large, lit, lockable cases in a side wall. Work can be viewed from inside the lounge and from the corridor between The Hub and the Cafeteria. This is a great space in a really high traffic location.

The Brunswick Campus has three lit, lockable glass cabinets of different shapes and sizes as well as a wall-mounted glass-fronted frame for 2-D works. Location: the cafeteria, Building 514.

All Artspaces are free to use, secure, and in high traffic locations. They're a fantastic way to get your work out of the studio and into the public eye.
